Danish design brand 101 Copenhagen introduces the Ghost Ceiling Lamp, a new lighting piece inspired by minimalist art and defined by its sculptural, almost immaterial presence.
Designed to trace luminous lines through space, the lamp resembles a hand-drawn sketch brought into three dimensions. As the viewer moves around it, the form continuously shifts, revealing new patterns and perspectives that transform the perception of the surrounding space.
At the heart of the Ghost design lies a radiant acrylic tube with an integrated LED. This core element guides light along soft, fluid curves, creating subtle variations in brightness—intensifying in some areas while gently diffusing in others. The result is an atmosphere that feels both contemporary and warmly inviting.
Unlike traditional neon lighting, the Ghost series emits a softer, more intimate glow. The light draws attention without overwhelming, creating a sense of closeness and comfort within modern interiors.
The collection explores two distinct material expressions. One version is crafted entirely from luminous acrylic, offering a pure and ethereal aesthetic. The other combines acrylic with aluminium, introducing a refined contrast between lightness and structure, where radiance meets solidity.
Available in different configurations—from ceiling-mounted pieces to suspended chandeliers—the Ghost designs appear almost weightless. Their sculptural forms seem to float effortlessly, as if light itself has been shaped and suspended in air.
