The Muffins lighting collection — now considered a symbol of contemporary Czech glass design — celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, a special edition featuring a travertine base has been unveiled. This natural stone adds a timeless and elegant touch, emphasizing the handcrafted character and enduring appeal of the collection.
First introduced at Designblok Prague in 2010, Muffins quickly gained recognition for its distinctive combination of blown glass and wood, a dialogue between soft shapes and natural materials that defines its signature look.
A decade later, in 2020, the collection celebrated its 10th anniversary with a marble-based edition, introducing new tones and refined glass finishes.
Five years on, the 15-Year Anniversary Edition brings Italian travertine into the mix — a noble material known for its warm hues and rich textures. The latest version adds depth and natural elegance to the series and was presented at Designblok 2025 in Prague as part of BLEND, an exhibition curated by Lucie Koldova at the Museum of Decorative Arts.
