Clay for Architecture

Born as the fourth generation in a family experienced in work with earth, architect Matteo Brioni has developed this tradition even further - designing the surfaces for architecture. Experimenting with earth’s both visual and tactile qualities, Matteo creates surfaces and environments that radiate the beauty, look and warmth of the nature. On his relation to the earth as material, Matteo says:

“I discovered, like many designers, earth, was not only a ‘sustainable’ and ‘healthy’ material, but also sensual and ‘naturally’ beautiful, pleasant to the touch and sinuously adaptable to any surface.”

Working with the gratest design names known today, Matteo Brioni has completed numerous projects, proving the visual versatility of the earth, at the same time bringing back the nature and the man close together.
