We met designer Jette Scheib at this September's Maison&Objet in Paris. Jette has designed the new pendant light called LYS for the Forestier brand.
On this gentle and beautiful work, as well as on her inspiration, Jette told us:
'’I was inspired by the beauty of the lily flower which is one of the oldest flowers throughout the legend and history of mankind in many different cultures. To this day, the delightful and graceful lily is a symbol of light, beauty, unconditioned love and purity of the heart. I thought the whole flower, every single leaf, to give light.’’
